Congressional Youth Leadership Council
Alex Ledesma, is a 7th grader at Los Arboles Middle School in Marina.
He has been nominated by his teacher to represent his school and community at the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C.
The Congressional Youth Leadership Council nominates exceptional students from around the country with strong academic achievement and leadership qualities to attend this educational program.
He is very excited about this opportunity because it will allow him to see more of this amazing country that we live in and it will extend his education by allowing him to learn about the great leaders of our past.
His participation in this program depends on whether he can raise enough money from sponsorships. The tuition cost is $1,980, plus he will need air faire to get to Washington D. C. He has already raise over $300 dollars from bake sales and a family garage sale, and will be using every dollar of his own money to make sure that he does not miss out on this once in a life time opportunity.
Your support for his sponsorship request would be greatly appreciated.
